“They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds. They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.”-Psalm 145:6-7
It has been a good week. I have so much I want to tell everyone about my time in the prison, school and hospital, but because of time I will have to write more about those ministries when I return home. I did want to share some pictures from the parade that we had the pleasure to walk in yesterday morning. It is in celebration of Revolution Day which marks Mexico’s independence. The school that the team here works with is one of the few English speaking schools in the area, so they were very excited when we all decided to go and walk with their students in the parade. I walked with the first graders that rode on a float and were all dressed up in the local garb and as various historical figures such a Pancho Villa. I must say our float was the hit of the parade considering how cute the first graders are. It was so much fun, and although we had to run most of it next to the float, we all had an amazing time soaking in the local culture. I hope you enjoy the pictures, and I can’t wait to share more with you all when I return home!
I would really appreciate your prayers for my health. I felt bad last night and have been having cold sweats this morning so I think my body must be trying to break a fever. Please pray that I would feel better and remain healthy so I can finish out my time here strong. We are heading to the plaza tonight to do some open-air ministry so I am praying I feel better by then. Thanks so much!
For His Glory,
Caroline 🙂
